Meet Dr. Relan
I was born and raised in India, where I grew up in a nurturing family environment that instilled the importance of kindness, family values, loyalty, and continued personal growth. As a child, I found such reward in making people smile that I often thought of becoming a dentist when I got older. Here I am today, with a passion for dentistry and a continual commitment to making people smile.
My approach to dental care is comprehensive and preventative, and I strongly believe in the importance of listening to you and understanding your needs. I hope our relationship will be long-term, built on trust and mutual respect. As your dentist, I am dedicated to continuing my education and keeping up with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry to provide you with the best possible care.
For over 5 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Bellevue Crossroads community, and I am incredibly fortunate to have received so much love and trust from my patients at Bellevue Family Dentistry.

Dr. Negar Sherkat has been practicing dentistry for over 28 years. She always strives to inform her patients on the state of their oral health and advise them on their treatment options in a compassionate setting. This creates an environment where each patient feels comfortable with the care he or she receives.

Dr. Sherkat is passionate about the integrity of her profession and the quality of dentistry in Washington. She is a part of several study clubs and takes continuing education courses continually to keep abreast of the latest research and technology in evidence-based dental care.

Outside the Office
Born in Iran, Dr. Sherkat grew up in Canada and moved to Washington to complete her education. She has been a member of the Bellevue community since 1998. Dr. Sherkat and her husband have two children. Her family is her top priority, and she spends her time outside the office instilling the importance of volunteerism and giving back to the community in her children. Dr. Sherkat’s own community involvement includes volunteering for Donated Dental Services and local homeless outreach. She also enjoys playing tennis, skiing and all outdoor activities.
